Teaching & Learning Curriculum
Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy's Teaching and Learning Curriculum (TLC) program is designed to prepare residents for future educator roles, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Many individuals graduating from pharmacy residency programs will choose a career path that includes teaching responsibilities in the didactic (traditional classroom instruction) and experiential settings. Through this TLC program, residents will recieve formal training in pharmacy education in both of these areas.
This training focuses on the following three aspects of teaching:
- Planning for Effective Teaching
- Implementing Teaching and Learning
- Assessing Student Learning
