Strategic Plan
Thank you for your interest in the East Tennessee State University Strategic Plan. In November 2017 the East Tennessee State University Board of Trustees approved a new strategic plan for the university. The strategic plan included updates to the vision and mission of the institution, six areas of emphasis and goals to be achieved by 2026. The university strategic plan was developed within the theme of decentralization. As such, the plan is a framework that is intended to guide planning at the unit level and support the decentralized budget model. A copy of the university strategic plan can be found on the president's website.
This page is currently underdevelopment so be sure to check back often for updates on the planning process and progress.

East Tennessee State University Academic Advising Review
This fall ETSU asked EAB to conduct a review of our current advising structure and practice to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. The linked reports below have been shared with the college and advising leadership. The university will now digest the report and establish work groups to implement changes as suggested. The primary outcome is that ETSU will implement a 'decentralized' but 'standardized' advising process at ETSU.
