Welcome to the Buccaneer Family!
We cannot wait to see how you’ll contribute to campus. Newly admitted students will be sent welcome packets in the early fall with full details on their admission and the next steps for enrollment. You can take a look at the next steps by reading below.
If you have questions, your ETSU Admissions Team is here for you!
Note to New Freshmen: Most students are initially offered conditional admission. This means you are admitted on the condition that, prior to enrollment, you submit a final transcript showing proof of graduation and final GPA to satisfy full admission requirements.
Activate ETSU Accounts
Admitted students may activate and access their ETSU student account, GoldLink, and their ETSU e-mail by setting their password at www.etsu.edu/activate/. Log into these accounts by clicking on the links at the top of the ETSU home page. www.etsu.edu/
Apply For Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded by the Scholarship Office, Honors College, and academic departments. Go to their webpages to review details and deadlines to apply correctly and in time! Note that an ACT/SAT score is not required for admission to ETSU, but is required for consideration for scholarships.
Apply for Housing
Students living on campus are the heart of the ETSU community. A great college foundation is realized through the support, environment, and resources that are available on campus. When you live on campus, you meet friends, get involved, and learn what ETSU has to offer, all of which is available just outside your door. Applications open in October for the following year and assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, including a link to the application and deposit, click here.
Apply For Your Meal Plan
Anytime Dining is a dynamic, flexible, and affordable dining program designed to provide students with all-inclusive, well-balanced, and nutritious dining options. Anytime Dining plans include unlimited access to the Market Place and may also be used at the Tree House Take Out during all operating hours. Click here for more information.
Complete the Health Forms
All students are required to comply with immunization requirements before registering for classes. For more information about these requirements and how to fulfill them, refer to Student/University Health Services.
Apply for Financial Aid and Lottery Awards
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required to apply for need-based financial aid, loans, and the TN HOPE Lottery Scholarship (available to TN residents only). Additional financial aid information may be viewed at the ETSU Financial Aid webpage.
Register for New Student Orientation
Admitted students will receive an invitation to attend orientation in their ETSU email. Sign up early to have the best selection of dates. At orientation you will become acquainted with campus and you will meet with your academic advisor and register for classes. Additional information is available on the orientation webpage.
