Each December, approximately 150 students and faculty convene in Washington, D.C., for the annual ATP Conference. This three-day event features student project presentations, discussions of community issues, poster presentations, and opportunities for students and faculty from up to 16 colleges and universities, located throughout the Appalachian region, to interact and share ideas.

The conference also gives ARC administrators and staff an opportunity to learn about diverse issues and needs within specific Appalachian communities, and, most importantly, students propose solutions to problems and explore ways to meet the needs of these individual communities.
