The Bert C. Bach Written Word Initiative
Spring Literary Festival 2022
The Bert C. Bach Written Word Initiative celebrates writing this spring by hosting a two-day festival featuring Cody Smith, Valerie Vogrin, Shawna Kay Rodenberg, and, as featured Jack Higgs Memorial featured reader, poet Maurice Manning (above), along with ETSU professor Dr. Thomas Alan Holmes and alumna Lacy Snapp. The festival takes place April 12 - April 13, a free event open to the members of the ETSU community and the general public.
Festival organizers wish to express their gratitude to former ETSU Provost, Professor Bert C. Bach, the College of Arts and Sciences and Dean Joe Bidwell, and the Department of Literature and Language and its chair, Professor Daniel Westover, for their support of this event.
For more information about the festival, please browse through this website; you may address other questions to our festival director, Jesse Graves.
