The Eleventh Annual Meeting of the Society of Appalachian Historians (SAH) will be hosted by Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee, on May 23-24, 2022.
After two years, the Society of Appalachian Historians will meet this May in Maryville. It has been a long road back to this point. We were originally scheduled to meet at Maryville College in May 2020. Obviously, a lot has happened since then. Our meeting, which prides itself on the ability to get all attendees in a room for presentations and discussion, was originally going to help mark Maryville College's 200th anniversary. We may have lost that opportunity, but we are thrilled to be back and heading to Maryville for what will still feel like a celebration.

We hope you will be able to join us. You can submit a paper or panel proposal if you wish to present.
We look forward to seeing you in less than a month in Maryville.

The deadline for proposals is April 29, 2022.
Please direct all proposals and questions via email to the Society of Appalachian Historians at SAH@mail.etsu.edu.
