CALL FOR PROPOSALS
ETSU FACULTY RESEARCH MENTORING COHORT
Are you interested in enhancing your research skills? Becoming part of a research community of practice? Gaining access to institutional data in order to answer research questions related to ETSU’s mission? The ETSU Faculty Research Mentoring Cohort is selecting proposals for the 2021-2022 academic year in partnership with the Office of Planning and Decision Support, the Provost’s Office, and the Applied Social Research Laboratory.
The goal of this microgrant program is to develop a research community to support faculty research design knowledge, skills and abilities. The program will support a select group of ETSU faculty in designing and implementing systematic, rigorous research investigations.

The Applied Social Research Laboratory (ASRL) is an academic research lab located at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN.
ASRL is directed by Dr. Kelly Foster, an associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology with over 15 years experience in survey research. ASRL staff and faculty affiliates have extensive experience in community based research, evaluation research, government and non-profit work, public opinion polling, and community health research.
