About:
Dr. Michael Lehrfeld has 30 years of professional and higher education experience in software development, computer networking, and cybersecurity. Dr. Lehrfeld currently leads the Cybersecurity Innovation and Outreach Center that supports research, career training, and job placement in the domain of Cybersecurity. He is also a supporter of First Responders and Law Enforcement. Dr. Lehrfeld leads the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network lab at ETSU in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Research & Interests:
Dr. Lehrfeld's research areas focus around supporting the First Responder and Emergency management community with solutions and services that enable technology to be utilized by rural communities. This includes situational awareness tool, training for law enforcement, and supporting interagency collaborative efforts.
