Kari Albarado serves as Director of Campus Recreation at ETSU, where she also teaches SALM 4307/5307: Campus Recreation Management. With more than 15 years of experience in collegiate recreation, Kari brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the classroom. Prior to joining ETSU, she held professional roles at East Texas A&M and Washington University in St. Louis.
Kari earned her B.A. from The University of Virginia's College at Wise and her M.S. from Western Illinois University. She is passionate about engaging with students and enjoys sharing real-world experiences from her career in collegiate recreation to support their professional growth.
Outside of work, Kari enjoys traveling, spending time with her twin daughters, Marleigh and Peyton, and hanging out with her two standard poodles, Ruby and Patrick Swayze.
