Our Food and Nutrition Laboratory is a state-of-the-art learning environment designed
to advance education in nutrition, integrated health sciences, and culinary medicine.
This innovative space allows students to explore the science of food and its impact
on health through hands-on, experiential learning.

- Six fully equipped cooking stations. Each station includes a stove-top oven and a sink with hot and cold running water for practical food preparation.
- Professional-grade work surfaces. Stainless steel, counter-height preparation tables ensure hygienic and ergonomic food handling.
- Comprehensive culinary tools. Fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, and eating utensils for diverse instructional activities.
- Cold storage and ice production. Three stainless steel refrigerators and an ice maker for ingredient preservation.
- Efficient sanitation systems. Four high-capacity dishwashers maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

Usage fee is $100 per event for ETSU campus groups and $200 per event for outside groups. This is on a per usage basis or for a one-day event.
