New Faculty
Welcome to East Tennessee State University!
We're so excited to have you join our faculty! ETSU is a great place to learn, study, and work. Faculty are the heart of our institution and we want to help you be successful.
New Faculty Orientation is a process designed to help you:
- Provide some context about the region, the university, and the students we serve,
- Discover resources that can support your teaching, research, and service,
- Develop lasting collegial relationships with other new ETSU faculty.
The New Faculty Orientation event is planned to give you some basic building blocks to get started, as well as to become familiar with people who can support your excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Our New Faculty Orientation will be held from 8:00 - 4:30 on August 17 in the East Tennessee Room of the Culp Student Center. You should receive an email invitation, but if you do not, please contact Dr. Karin Keith (keithkj@etsu.edu), Associate Provost for Faculty, to ensure you're on our list.
At the end of the day, you will be invited to attend the New Faculty Reception in the Martin Center for the Arts from 4:30 - 6:00.
