1st annual Prince and Princess Celebration. 9:30am-12pm @ Mountain Home VA Campus. This was a free and fun event for families with children up to age 12. Featured a themed Prince and Princess Parade, a physical activity Quest, and health and safety King's Court with around 150 children with their families in attendance.

Daddy Day Camp: Educational event for expectant and new fathers.at Calvary Baptist Church, 225 Holly Lane, Elizabethton, TN. This event included educational speakers geared towards new dads, as well as various educational displays presented by different community organizations.

11am-12pm: To-be Tea for Expectant Mothers and Grandmothers with BABE Breastfeeding Coalition and Carter County Health Department. Provided a variety of information for expectant or nursing mothers and grandmothers, including car seat safety, sleep safety, and nutrition.

ReadNPlay cosponsored the Walk N' Roll in conjunction with the September 22, 2012 1.1 mile Niswonger Kids Run on the campus of ETSU. Faculty and residents from the ETSU Department of Pediatrics,Quillen medical students, and students from the ETSU Department of Psychology CLIFFS lab passed out ReadNPlay badges to 37 WalkNRollers (walking/stroller with their young children), distributed over 75 children's books and Chop Chop magazines, and had 35 families take our sugar quiz during Family Activity Day. Six faculty/nurses from ETSU Pediatrics ran the Blue Grass Half Marathon the following day!
