Based on the latest guidance from the U.S. Department of Education, ETSU will allocate $7.9 million to those students who are eligible and who are enrolled after September 6, 2021.

ETSU anticipates awarding these funds to eligible students after September 21, 2021.  To facilitate the process of receiving funds as quickly as possible, students are strongly encouraged to enroll in our direct deposit program.  Information on how to enroll in direct deposit can be found here or this YouTube link.  As you will recall, through the HEERF II distributions made available this past March, ETSU allocated $5.6 million to eligible students, who received a minimum of $337 per award.

In addition to the support noted above, undergraduate students who applied for financial aid for the 2021-2022 year may qualify to receive an adjustment in their financial aid package due to the recent unemployment of a family member or independent student. To learn more about this potential opportunity, contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at finaid@etsu.edu.
