East Tennessee State University is excited to announce the creation of Project Net, a new formalized service partnership program coordinated through the Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement. Taking a step back from the one-size-fits-all model, Project Net will give greater attention to the needs of individual partners and allow for the fostering of stronger relationships between organizations and our students.
Project Net will also include the introduction of a new team of Student Impact Ambassadors. Assigned to individual partners, the Ambassadors will serve as both a liaison and advocate for organizations on campus. Through direct site-visits of service locations, meetings with partners, and regular and consistent communication, student ambassadors will serve as an organization's go-to point of contact for volunteer needs - helping to recruit and train volunteers and educate the campus community about your organization.
