UPCOMING EVENTS - Spring 2018
1) the Mobile Mexican Consulate will set up in Kingsport and will provide services for Mexican Nationals from Tuesday March 20 to to Friday March 23. The LCRC and student volunteers will be there helping to register people. At the same time, the Catholic Charities will be providing free 15 minutes immigration consultation appointments to individuals Tuesday to Thursday at the same event.
2) On April 6th, we will have our 9th edition of the Corazon Latino Festivalin Downtown Johnson City. Please come celebrate the Latinx heritage by listening to the Group Che Apalache, an Argentinian Apalachian musical band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppHjwTksRek
3) On April 28th, we will have our first Hispanic Health Fair: Feria de Salud at the Johnson City Community Health Center. Where Hispanic Families will receive free health advice, and pick up a free health kit. More info to come.
