ICMA
International City/County Management Association (ICMA) is an association representing professionals in local government management. With over 10,000 members, the organization advances professional local government through leadership, management, innovation, and ethics. Becoming a member of ICMA connects students to the world's largest network of local government management professionals.
ICMA is currently composted of students from the Master of Public Administration Program at ETSU. Meetings are held once a month during the Fall and Spring semesters, at which time local leaders are invited to speak on a variety of public administration topics. Meetings are a time to explore current public administration practices and concerns, and provides an excellent opportunity for networking and meeting others who work in areas of city management, non-profit sectors, planning and development and urban studies.
