Appalachian Highlands Economic Update

2024: 2nd Quarter

As we approach the end of the spring semester and another academic year, we are proud to send another group of graduates out into the business world. I would like to thank all of you who are active in the internship program, spoke to classes or student groups, or otherwise engaged with students as they made their way through their course of study in the College of Business and Technology. 

I would like to thank all of you who attended the 2nd Appalachian Economic Forum. I hope you found the programming informative and even a little entertaining. Special thanks to our faculty members who presented at the forum and who are writing for the Appalachian Highlands Economic Update. We are already working on the programming for next year's forum so I hope you are able to attend. Also, if you have not had the opportunity to provide feedback on the forum, we really appreciate you taking the time to do so. Thank you and Go Bucs!!
