Appalachian Highlands Economic Update

2024: 3rd Quarter

In the middle of this long, hot summer the University is as busy as ever. In addition to summer classes and preparing for the Fall Semester, we are working to implement changes in the structure and academic requirements of the University. Both of these take a great deal of time and effort but will result in improvements to the educational experience of our students. In the Department of Economics & Finance we are planning for the 3rd Appalachian Highlands Economic Forum which will be held in March of 2025. We really appreciate all the positive and constructive feedback we received from you regarding the last forum. We hope you find value in the information and commentary in the Economic Update.
