ETSU's Army ROTC offers top notch leadership courses for students interested in serving the nation as Army officers. Through class work and field training, students will learn first-hand what it takes to lead, motivate groups, overcome challenges, and succeed in a competitive environment. During their time at ETSU, students will receive the tools, training, and experience necessary to graduate as a commissioned Second Lieutenant in the United States Army.
Leadership Development
Army ROTC offers some of the best leadership classes you can take as part of your ETSU experience. Becoming an Army Officer
As an officer in the U.S. Army, you'll have many roles such as:

These are just a few roles you will be able to fulfill while by being an Army officer, but above all, you will be a LEADER. ETSU : Eddie Reed Ranger Challenge Team
The Ranger Challenge, known as the varsity sport of Army ROTC, is a competition designed to challenge cadets both physically and mentally as well as enhance leader development and team cohesion. Each year, Ranger Challenge teams from Army ROTC units nationwide compete in a series of events, to include orienteering, constructing a one-rope bridge, and grenade assault.
