Non Degree Initial Licensure

The Non-Degree Program is designed for candidates who already have a bachelor's degree (in any area), are seeking an initial license in special education, and are not interested in pursuing a master's degree.

Candidates enroll in coursework that prepares for initial teaching licensure in one of the following areas:

• Comprehensive K-12 Special Education [461]
• Interventionist K-8 and 6-12 (code 144 and 145)
• Early Childhood Special Education Pre-K-3 [459/465]
