Welcome!
Clinical education constitutes a major component of our Addiction Medicine Fellowship curriculum. During this one-year clinically-focused training program, physicians come to appreciate their roles and responsibilities as addiction medicine fellows as well as evaluate their progress for implementing and exceeding in rural and underserved populations. During rotations, the theoretical and practical components of the curriculum are applied to authentic clinical situations.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship in Family Medicine at East Tennessee State University is to advance the practice of addiction medicine with high quality and diverse rotations, research and service to the community, and taking advantage of the unique opportunities and responsibilities in a rural setting.
