Establish East Tennessee State University as a hub for professional, scholarly, civic, and personal growth for all learners wherever they are and whatever their path may be.

Mission Statement

The College of Graduate and Continuing Studies believes that education changes lives. Our mission is to provide credit and non-credit educational opportunities and support for undergraduate, transfer, and graduate students at various stages of their intellectual, professional, civic, and personal journey. We work collaboratively with other units at ETSU and community partners to support student success and educational attainment. We provide infrastructure and support for inter- and cross-disciplinary scholarly and research inquiry.
