The ETSU Tenure and Promotion Ceremony is an annual celebration recognizing faculty members who have achieved tenure and/or promotion. This important academic milestone honors the dedication, scholarship, teaching excellence, service, and leadership demonstrated by ETSU faculty throughout their careers. Hosted by the Office of the Provost, the ceremony brings together university leaders, colleagues, family, and friends to recognize these accomplishments and celebrate the contributions of faculty who advance ETSU’s mission of education, research, and service.
The 2026 Faculty Tenure and Promotion Celebration will be held
Tuesday, September 15,
at the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts, Powell Hall.
Refreshments will be provided starting at 5:00 p.m. and the formal program will begin at 6:00 p.m.
