ETSU Remembers

ETSU Remembers is an annual ceremony held during Founders Week to honor current faculty, staff, and students who have passed away in the prior academic year. This special ceremony includes a ringing of the Carillon bells in remembrance of those we have lost.

The ceremony is open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Carillon. We will honor current students, faculty, and staff who passed away between July 2025 and June 2026.

Parking will be reserved in Lot 34 on the ETSU main campus, directly in front of the Reece museum. If the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the second-floor lobby of Burgin Dossett Hall.
