You have worked hard to earn credits at other institutions, and we have several tools you can use to see how those credits will apply towards your next degree. East Tennessee State University will accept transfer credit of similar course work from other accredited institutions. Below are some tools to help you in determining how your college credits will transfer to us. To receive an official credit evaluation, submit your transfer application and official transcripts for review.
Transfer Course Equivalency Tables
The Transfer Course Equivalency table is a database maintained by the ETSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions staff. It contains a listing of institutions by state that ETSU has evaluated course credit from in the past.
Note: If your transfer institution and/or specific course is not listed, it might mean that ETSU has simply never evaluated that course before.
Articulation Agreements
Depending on which institution you plan to transfer from, there may be an exsisting transfer agreement to help you plan your path. Learn more about about ETSU's Articulation Agreements and if there pathway for your major of study.

This tool can be used to get a better idea of how courses may transfer to ETSU. This system works off our Transfer Course Equivalency Table, and as such is not an exhaustive list of courses that will transfer to ETSU.
All students, who apply, will recieve an individualized transfer evaluation as part of the application process to ETSU.
