University Compliance and campus partners work together to ensure the ETSU community has access to in person and online training opportunities. ETSU requires all employees and new students to complete online discrimination and harassment training.
Harassment and Discrimination Prevention
Ingrained in our institutional mission and vision, treating people with dignity and respect is a core value that involves all employees and affects our ability to educate our students and work together in an atmosphere conducive to building relationships on honesty, integrity, and trust. Because you are an employee of East Tennessee State University and a valued member of the ETSU Community, we ask that you complete the Harassment & Discrimination Prevention training provided through our external vendor EVERFI. **You will be notified annually via email to complete this valuable training. Sexual Assault Prevention
Sexual Assault Prevention is an online course that will empower undergraduate and graduate students to make well-informed decisions about issues that affect your college years and beyond. This training is required of all new students to East Tennessee State University. The Office of the Vice President for Student Life and Enrollment will email newly admitted students with instructions on how to complete Sexual Assault Prevention.
