Morgan chose ETSU because she immediately felt at home as soon as she stepped foot on campus for her first tour. She loved that the school was medium sized. It wasn't too big and scary but was also large enough to feel exciting. She was completely comfortable with identifying as an ETSU student and easily envisioned herself loving ETSU for a minimum of 4 years. She knew she was going to find belonging on this campus with no trouble at all. Her advice for incoming pre-health professions students is to try to prepare yourself for what it really means to be a college student. “Your workload won’t always be easy, and there will be times when you feel like you have no clue what you’re doing,” she says. Her advice is to take it one day at a time, build connections with other students, professors and advisers, and find a place on campus where you feel accepted because a support system is what will get you through rough times. Morgan's extracurricular activities include Circle K International, American Society for Microbiology, and the Pre-Health Living Learning Community.
