Summer Courses
For those of you wanting a deeper dive, or to get a head start on your degree requirements, join us for a 4-5 week full course. Many ETSU courses are offered online in the summer, and we have some exciting offerings for students and non-students alike! Take a course for credit, or audit a course and learn from some of the most knowledgeable and experienced teachers in the Program. These classes will require that you apply and are admitted to summer term, either as a degree-seeking, or non-degree seeking student. Click here for information about Summer Session, and to apply. Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Roots Music Classes
American Roots Music (BLUE 2150)
A multicultural survey of America’s diverse ethnic and regional traditions of vernacular music, how they have been revived and popularized in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, and the revival and reinterpretation of those music traditions regionally, nationally, and internationally.
