APPLICATION FOR ARTS PROGRAMMING GRANTS 2024-25
One of the most important roles of the MBMSOTA is to fund arts programming for the ETSU community, including faculty, staff, students and others on and off campus.
Requests for funding should align with the ETSU Arts Initiative, focusing on arts events or activities that promote or enhance the arts community's artistic experience either on or off campus, or contributing, directly or indirectly, to the development of further improvements to the arts. Examples include but are not limited to support for community workshops both on and off campus, professional development seminars, student exhibitions or performances, film series, invited speakers, guest artists and performances, and student travel associated with a defined learning outcome (visit to a museum, live performance, etc.).
Collaborative projects involving students, staff and faculty are encouraged. Collaborative projects must be led by a faculty or staff member from the College of Arts and Sciences but may include the partnership of faculty, staff and/or students from the departments of Digital Media, Media and Communication, and Interior Architecture in the College of Business and Technology and in support of arts related activities with the College of Public Health or the Clemmer College of Education and Human Development.
The deadline for applications is February 14th, 2025.
Successful applicants will be required to submit a detailed final project report before August 1st, 2026. Failure to submit a report will prohibit applications for the following year.
