East Tennessee State University’s (ETSU) Department of Computing is hosting a Cybersecurity Boot Camp for middle school students (6th to 8th grade) this summer. This is an exciting opportunity for students to learn about cybersecurity concepts, cyber hygiene, and other STEM activities.
Date: Monday, June 12 - Friday, June 16
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Location: Brinkley Center on ETSU’s Main Campus
The camp is an excellent opportunity for students interested in cybersecurity and other STEM fields to learn about critical cybersecurity concepts and engage in fun activities. The Cybersecurity Boot Camp is an excellent opportunity for middle school students to explore a range of cybersecurity topics in a supportive and engaging environment. Students will learn about privacy and safety when surfing the internet and participate in various fun and educational activities that are introduced in hand-on sessions.
The camp is free to attend and lunch is provided. This year’s camp is funded by the Center of Excellence in STEM Education & the NE TN STEM Innovation Hub. Space is limited, so interested students should register as soon as possible.
