Elementary Education

Paying special attention to technology and inclusive, multicultural education principles, the K-12 Physical Education program at ETSU develops highly-qualified teaching professionals.
The K-12 physical education teaching concentration prepares students for teacher licensure in physical education in the state of Tennessee. -

Early Childhood Development with a concentration in PreK-3
This Integrated Early Childhood program prepares strong, compassionate educators for diverse public-school classrooms serving children from Pre-K through third grade. Coursework emphasizes every domain of development—social-emotional, physical, linguistic, and cognitive—helping you foster the dispositions and skills young learners need for lifelong success. Additionally, the coursework includes a focus on diverse learners and how to teach all learners in a variety of classroom settings. This degree leads to the Integrated Early Childhood (PK-3rd Grade) licensure. -
