Welcome
Welcome to the ETSU Center of Excellence in STEM Education (CESE) and the Northeast TN STEM Innovation Hub.
We support PK-12 educators, regional organizations, higher education faculty members, and STEM educator colleagues to enhance the quality of STEM education for the people of northeast Tennessee and beyond. Founded in 2005, the Center is a collaborative partnership between the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Technology, and the Clemmer College at East Tennessee State University.
CESE aims to support and connect students, PK-12 educators, higher education faculty
members, and community members in their STEM teaching and learning efforts.
Our projects include :
- Professional learning workshops, lending library, and meetings as lead of the NE TN STEM Innovation Hub
- USDOE-funded grant-funded projects on K-5 computational thinking
- Early childhood STEM programs and resources
- Statewide and national informal STEM education initiatives
- Federally-funded foundation-university partnership grant on regional STEM education
- Unique industry-university-community-workforce collaborations
Donate today to support our programs, fund robots for our Lending Library, and provide scholarships for educators
