2026 Rural High School Medical Camp:
You can choose from two camp sessions:
- June 8-10, 2026
- July 20-22, 2026
Rural High School Medical Camp includes three-day camps for rising seniors or recent graduates to attend during either of the above dates. The camps can accommodate up to 20 rural high school students.
Learn about medicine through hands-on experiences, meet the Quillen admissions team and tour ETSU’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Some of our most popular programs include Gross Anatomy, Human Simulation Lab and Physical Exam Skills training.

Doc for a Day: June 6, 2026
Rising high school juniors can attend a one-day summer event to explore ETSU and the Quillen College of Medicine.
The day includes a campus tour, talks with admission counselors, visits to the anatomy lab and simulation center, and a chance to meet the Associate Dean and the Director of Rural and Community Programs. Lunch is provided.
Quillen’s Rural and Community Programs gives high school students from rural communities an early look at medicine and health care, helping them explore future careers.
Who Can Apply?
Students from rural high schools in Tennessee, as well as nearby counties in Virginia and North Carolina, may apply.
