The College of Public and Allied Health will be
hosting an informational meeting on the development
of the new College of Public Health in conjunction
with the annual faculty development initiative on
October 31, 8:15-12:00, Dining Room 2, D.P. Culp
Center, ETSU. Registration and Breakfast will begin
at 7:30 a.m.
Two national leaders in public health,
Dr. Joel Lee, Professor at
University of Kentucky and member of the 2005 Board
of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National
Quality Award, and
Dr. Rachel Stevens, former deputy
director of the North Carolina Institute for Public
Health and co-director of the North Carolina
Preparedness Center, will speak about the impact of
a College of Public Health on the university
community and the community at-large.
