Standing Committees
There shall be Standing and Special Committees with appropriate representation from each of the departments within the College. The members will either be elected or appointed according to university and/or college policy. The charge of each committee shall include a statement on the purpose of committee, membership, term of membership, and specific guidelines. Student representation is encouraged where appropriate. Permanent records of the committee's purpose, guidelines, and deliberations shall be kept in the Office of the Dean. Each committee shall have a Chair, and such other officers may be designated. Vacancies on a committee shall be filled through the process designated by the authority which created the committee. Committees Chairs or designee will attend a Leadership Council meeting at least once during the acaemic year to report on findings from the committee.
