Predeparture & Arrival Steps

Predeparture & Arrival Timeline - Fall

1. 1

   May- June

   - Activate ETSU accounts

   - Complete first visa application steps

   - Apply for residence hall

2. 2

   June - July

   - Complete proof of immunization & health insurance steps

   - Meet with academic advisor & register for classes

   - Sign up for international student orientation

   - Arrange travel & arrival; apply for IFP homestay program or schedule airport pickup

   - Apply for IBB buddy program (optional)

3. 3

   August

   - Move into residence hall and attend orientation

   - Complete required immigration check-in & health steps (information will be provided during orientation)

   - Finalize course enrollment & fee payment (if applicable)
