Global Citizen Scholars Program Scholarships
The Global Citizen Scholars program offers generous scholarships that increase each successive year students are enrolled in the program. 25 scholarships will be awarded each year. Students may not have another ETSU tuition scholarship (like the Academic Performance Scholarship) with the GCS Scholarship. However, students may also receive lottery scholarships,* federal funding (including Pell Grants and loans), and private scholarships on top of the GCS award up to the limit of cost of attendance. To receive the scholarship, in the first two years, students must live on campus in the Honors Living and Learning Community.
The Global Citizen Scholars Award Amounts:
- Year One: $12,000 + Fully Funded Education Abroad Program
- Year Two: $12,500
- Year Three: $13,000
- Year Four: $13,500
* Tennessee students eligible for the Hope Lottery Scholarship typically receive an award between $3500-$5500 per year assuming they have not used Hope funding for dual enrollment or summer school.
The information on this page reflects the scholarship values for the current academic year. Scholarship amounts for next year (the 2023-2024 academic year) will be posted shortly.
