Staying Safe on Campus

Occupational Safety

Occupational safety and health is generally defined as the science of the anticipation, acknowledgment, assessment and management of hazards arising in or from the workplace that could impair the health and well-being of workers, taking into account the possible impact on the nearby communities and the general environment. Here at ETSU, we strive to make the working environment of each employee as safe as possible. The Office of Environmental Safety and Department of Human Resources are available for ETSU employees' safety and well-being.
