2026 Staff Celebration
The Staff Senate warmly invites you to join us for our annual Staff Celebration on May 20th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Ballad Health Mini-Dome.
This year’s theme is “Red, White & Bucs,” so we encourage you to wear your ETSU spirit colors and come ready to celebrate the incredible contributions of our staff community.
Costume Contest
Rock your best red, white, and blue and show off your Buc pride. Enter our costume contest on the day of the event for a chance to win bragging rights for the most festive look!
Food
Lunch will be provided by Firehouse, and we will recognize our outstanding colleagues during the Staff Awards presentation at 1:00 p.m. Please note that food service will conclude at 1:30 p.m.
We kindly ask that you RSVP in advance to help us plan accordingly. As an added incentive, RSVPs received by May 6th will be entered into a drawing for a door prize. When submitting your RSVP, please be sure to include any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate your needs.

Blood Drive
Staff Senate Blood Drive in partnership with Marsh Regional Blood Center will be held on Tuesday, May 19th from 9:00 a.m. To 2:00 p.m. in Borchuck Plaza.

Holiday Food Drive
We are thrilled to share the incredible success of this year’s Season of Sharing Holiday
Drive! Thanks to the generosity and compassion of our ETSU community, we collected
1,200 individual items and received $805 in monetary donations.
Because of your support, we were fully equipped to serve 90 members of the ETSU community.
Your kindness didn't stop there—thanks to the abundance of donations, we were able to make a substantial contribution to Bucky’s Food Pantry, helping ensure continued support for students and families throughout the holiday season.
Thank you for showing what the Buccaneer family can accomplish when we come together. Your generosity is making a real difference.
Staff Senate Listening Sessions
ETSU Staff Senate hosts this series, "Listening Circle: Sharing Perspectives and Needs," for a safe space to join in dialogue with colleagues and peer represenatives.
All ETSU staff are welcome to drop in as your schedule allows to meet representatives of Staff Senate. These informal sessions are for staff to connect with one another and share experiences, ideas, or needs with Staff Senate and peers.
