Arts & Sciences Highlights


  • Department of Media and Communication has the only program in the country to offer certifications from the Digital Marketing Institute.
  • Psychology and Biology are our largest majors, and graduates follow career paths in business, counseling, education, health and medicine, human resources, law, social and human services, and more.
  • Graduates of Criminal Justice and Criminology work at federal, state, and local criminal justice agencies, including the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), and the U.S. Marshals
  • ETSU has award-winning music ensembles. Even non-music majors can earn scholarships for participating.
  • Our Medical Professions Advisement Program prepares students for a range of health areas and is ranked in the top 20 in the nation.
