The Department of Physics and Astronomy at East Tennessee State University is seeking an Executive Aide to replace our current Executive Aide who is retiring. This person will begin work on July 1, 2020. The successful candidate must have good bookkeeping skills involving budgets and course schedules, and be able to manage the Department Office and oversees student workers. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to place orders for materials needed by the Department, and be able to assists faculty, staff, and students on Departmental, College, and University matters. The Executive Aide interacts with faculty, staff, and students in the Department Office, so good interpersonal skills are must for a successful candidate. A successful candidate should be able to manage the financial records of the Department and have good computer skills with spreadsheets and interacting with the University's Banner software.
