Mission

The Office of Equity and Inclusion collaborates, promotes, supports, and advances the University's mission, vision, and values by guiding the development and implementation of proactive access, research, and recruitment and retention initiatives for all faculty, staff, and students. The intent is to treat all persons with fairness, justice, and equality and respect individual differences, rights, and freedoms.

The office serves to promote an environment where people come first, are treated with dignity and respect, and are encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential.

The office will collaborate with university and community partners on matters associated with access to promote relationships and advocate for all populations including but not limited to first generation, low income, veterans, disabilities, unemployed, undeserved, and the like.
