Each college that conducts human subjects research is assigned an HRPP staff member to serve as that unit’s primary point of contact for research support.
Examples: IRB submission process and status, responding to IRB-requested changes, IRB policy and human subjects research compliance, training and education requests and compliance, and other protocol-specific needs.

The Office for Human Research Protection (OHRP) has responsibility for oversight of compliance with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) regulations for the protection of human research subjects (see 45 CFR part 46), also known as the Common Rule. In carrying out this responsibility, OHRP reviews complaints involving human subjects research that fall under its oversight, and those may be submitted here.
