2022 PREVIEW

PREVIEW is one of the favorite traditions at ETSU. It is deisgned to make you feel at home and at ease before classes begin. You will make friends, meet many of your fellow classmates, and learn about the campus while having a great deal of fun along the way! PREVIEW is hard to describe....let's just say that it's better than a vacation!

There are  two variations of PREVIEW . All new first-time freshman attend the Traditional PREVIEW , which is three days. Internation, Transfer and Adult students have the option of choosing the Traditional PREVIEW  or the One Day verison of PREVIEW . Below you will find the link to sign up based on YOUR student type.

  • First-Time Freshman

    Traditional PREVIEW: August 18 - 20 

    All new first -time freshman participate in Traditional PREVIEW.

     

    On Thursday, August 18th PREVIEW Check-In will start at 3:45 p.m. in the Quad outside of Brooks Gym. It will last until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday plan to attend from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. as well!

  • International Students

    You have TWO options for attending PREVIEW!

    1. Traditional PREVIEW: (Ages 23 and under)

    Dates: August 18 -August 20

Mason's PREVIEW Experience

“I didn’t know a lot of people, coming here from Chattanooga, so it was a way for me to get acclimated to the campus, better myself, and overall make some new friends,” he said.  “I had the best experience of my life.  I met some of my best friends to this day in my PREVIEW group and had the first-time freshman fears go away.  That PREVIEW transition just made it so much easier to feel welcome and at home with the campus, and I thought, ‘Now that I’ve felt this, I want somebody else to experience this."
