ETSU Elevates
Launched in 2019, the ETSU Elevates program offers students support in identifying an economic, social, or environmental issue area of their choice and coordinating with a community-based partner (agency, organization, or client) in the region to conceptualize, design, and implement a service-focused solution to their unique topic. Engaging with community experts, students explore the root causes of their identified issue area while developing practical and scalable solutions through workshop training sessions and personal coaching.

Alternative Breaks
While working with multiple community service partners, East Tennessee State University's Alternative Break Program trains and immerses students in a purposeful service experience designed to connect fellow Buccaneer students and community members while enhancing personal growth, mutual awareness and life-long learning.
