and creative activity that involves community partners and addresses significant societal

Research
ETSU is a hub of creativity, innovation, and knowledge generation. ETSU researchers
improve the quality of life of the people of the region and beyond through the work
done here. Critical thinking, idea generation, and passion for knowing are taught

The Engagement Scholarship Consortium (ESC) and Campus Compact (CC) are primary organizations
that partner with institutions across the country to promote engaged scholarship and
community and civic engagement. They host events, offer resources and opportunities
for leadership and community-oriented development, and collaborate on opportunities
