ACT Testing and Pre-Bubbling
Dear University School Senior-
ACT Pre-Bubbling and Testing will be held in Warf-Pickel Hall, and admission to test will be at the corner door at the front of the building on the right (corner facing the Dome and closest to the parking garage. Be prepared to wait outdoors until you are admitted, and please do not bring unnecessary gear (backpacks, purses, etc.) to the exam site. ETSU is not in session on these two days so you may park in the parking garage. PLEASE BRING A PHOTO ID.
All seniors are pre-registered for the exam. Your participation is required on both days to be eligible to take the exam. Please plan to arrive by 8:00am on Monday, October 5 for Pre-Bubbling and by 7:45am on Tuesday, October 6. REPORT DIRECTLY TO WARF PICKEL. DO NOT GO TO THE SCHOOL. School attendance will be taken at the testing site. Students will be placed in one of four rooms for pre-bubbling and will return to the same room for testing the next day.
Students will be required to have a temperature check, respond to a short health survey, and wear a mask in order to be admitted to the building. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ATTEND ACT TESTING IF YOU ARE NOT WELL, HAVE ANY COVID SYMPTOMS, HAVE HAD POTENTIAL COVID EXPOSURE, OR ARE UNDER QUARANTINE. Students who cannot attend this testing session because of illness will be eligible to receive a voucher for a National testing date at a later time. Taking an ACT or SAT is required for graduation.
On Monday you will need to bring #2 pencils to complete ACT bubbling. On Tuesday, you will need to bring all necessary supplies (#2 pencils and calculators, etc.) as indicated on the ACT website https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/test-day.html (Links to an external site.). Testing materials will not be supplied and cannot be shared.
MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED THROUGHOUT PRE-BUBBLING AND THE EXAM. YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED WITHOUT A MASK, AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR THE MASK FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE EXAM.
