CARVER – M.S. Basketball

. Seating capacity at Brook limited to 10% will be 245.

  · We will asking visiting teams to provide a ticket list of 75 spectators.  This leaves 165 for U-School parents/fans, which will need to be reserved through the Basketball/Cheer Coaches. This will provide the opportunity for at least one parent to attend from the opposing team, perhaps an additional family member depending on the opposing teams distribution of its ticket allotment. 5 seats will be available for TSSAA pass-holders (MUST sign in at gate). Only those on the list will be allowed to purchase tickets. Extra (remaining) tickets from either the home or away list will not be sold.

· We will take temperature of all spectators entering the building. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be asked to leave and not granted admittance.

· Face coverings will be required by all for to entry and must be worn the entire time while inside the building, including throughout the games. Players will be required to arrive with masks in place, and the masks are to be worn until pre-game warm-ups, at which time they may be removed for the game. Masks are to be worn again as soon as game is complete.

· Teams will not shake hands following competition.

· All players are to provide their own individual drinks and towels (if desired). No sharing of drinks, water bottles, water dispensers, etc.

· Hand sanitizer will be provided at building entrance.

· There will be separate entrances from lobby into and out of gym, restricting close contact.

· Locker-rooms will not be accessible for teams prior to games or at halftime, further discouraging close contact. Teams shall remain on the bench area during halftime. Teams will be asked to arrive dressed for the game.

· Only clock operator & book-keeper allowed at scorers' table during game.

· University School does not have a middle school Cheerleader program, also per conference rules, visiting teams will not be allowed to bring Cheerleaders to away games.

 

BROOKS – H.S. Basketball

· Seating capacity at Brook limited to 10% will be 245. Conference voted to follow TSSAA recommendation of 33% capacity, which is well below conference requirement.

· We will ask opposing teams to provide a ticket list of 75 spectators, leaving 165 for U-School parents/fans. This will provide the opportunity for at least one parent to attend from the opposing team, perhaps an additional family member depending on the opposing teams distribution of its ticket allotment. 5 seats will be available for TSSAA pass-holders (MUST sign in at gate). Only those on the list will be allowed to purchase tickets. Extra (remaining) tickets from either the home or away list will not be sold.

· Disposable mask will be provided for individuals who enter the facility without a mask.

· TSSAA signage will be in the main lobby and COVID announcements will be made during breaks in the games.

· Locker rooms will not be accessible for teams prior to games or at halftime, further discouraging close contact. Teams shall remain on the bench area during halftime. Teams will be asked to arrive dressed for the game.

 

High School CHEER – Brooks Gym

· Cheerleading will only be allowed to participate at home games (conference rule).

· Cheerleaders will be moved to the stands for game time activities.

· Face mask and social distancing will be required during the game.

· Cheerleaders are to provide their own individual water. No sharing of drinks, water bottles, water dispensers, etc.

 

 

Transportation for Away Games

· Transportation will consist of a combination of parents who want to transport their own kids (parent will only be allowed to transport their child) and a bus (if needed).

· A team caravan will leave the school together and meet at the away site (unless parents choose not to be part of the caravan) and travel from the away site back to the school (unless they choose not to be part of the caravan).

· If a Washington County School bus is needed, the max capacity is 22, which equates to 1 athlete/coach per seat. Mask will be required at all times. This is the board approved mandate for bus transportation by WCDE.

· In the occasion that only 2 athletes at max need transportation, an Enterprise mini-van rental will be used. Mask will be required at all times, and coach/athletes will be seated one per row of van, strategically spaced out for max social distancing.
