Growing up, Kyrylo Hnatusko's biggest worry was preparing for his next tennis tournament. Picking up tennis at the age of 5, he worked his way up through the ranks.
Hnatusko said "I played tournaments every month. I played hundreds of matches. It was pretty hard for me because I drove to my tennis practice every day. I played for 3 to 4 hours, and I spent like 3 hours just to go from my house to the courts."
At 13 Hnatusko was traveling around Ukraine by himself to compete, and the hard work was finally paying off.
Hnatusko added "I was ranked top 50 under 16 boys age."
