Elementary School Honoree – Nora Bunger
Nora is a joy to have in class! She is a friend to all, loves to learn, and always sets a positive example in the classroom for her peers. Her work ethic is outstanding and her excitement for learning is contagious! Nora is always willing to participate in class and continuously challenges herself to dig deeper with her learning.
Getting to know Nora:
- What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given?
“Treat others the way you want to be treated. My mom, dad, and teachers have all told me that. I think that’s good advice.”
- If you were a teacher for a day, what would you teach?
“I’d probably teach math, social studies/history, and science. I like science because I like things that explode! I like history because I like to learn about people who were before me. I haven’t learned this yet, but I’m looking forward to division.”
- What qualities do you admire most in others?
“Probably being nice and also funny. People who are kind are good to be around. And people who are funny make me laugh.”
“Nora is a shining example of kindness and compassion,” commented Mrs. Erin Doran, Nora’s 2nd-grade teacher. “She is a great friend to others and always knows how to make others smile! Nora exemplifies all of the character traits that we discuss in class. She is a respectful, responsible, trustworthy, and caring student!”
