Elementary School Honoree – Penny Richards (Kindergarten)

Penny bring happiness and laughter to the classroom. She is friends with everyone in her class, and includes them in everything that she does. Penny is a dedicated learner and works hard during all activities. A day does not go by that Penny does not make her teachers and classmates laugh with her out-of-the-blue jokes and comments.

Getting to know Penny:

  • What is your biggest hope for the future?

“I’m looking forward to Teacher Time.  Teacher Time is when a student gets to hang out with their teacher.  We are going to go to Tiebreakers. It’s so much fun!”

  • What quality do you most appreciate in your favorite teacher?

“I like Mrs. Noell because she’s fun.  She teaches us a lot of stuff and is really nice.”

  • What is your favorite part of school?

“I wish I would’ve gotten to know my teachers sooner!  Mrs. Noell, Mrs. Grant, and Ms. Amelia are my teachers. I like how they teach us a lot, are fun to be around, and are nice.”

“Penny has a unique sense of humor that keeps me on my toes all the time,” said Mrs. Noell, Penny’s Kindergarten teacher. “I look forward to her daily pranks."
